What clients usually ask.
What is a flying dress photoshoot?
A portrait session in a long, light dress with a large train that we lift into the wind or throw into the air, photographed against the dunes or the sky.
What is the best time for a desert photoshoot?
The hour after sunrise or the hour before sunset. From June to September we shoot only at those times because of the heat.
Do we need to bring our own dress?
You can bring your own. If you would like a flying dress, tell us when you enquire and we tell you what can be arranged for your size and date.
How far is the desert from Dubai?
The dunes we use are usually about forty-five minutes to an hour from Dubai Marina or Downtown, depending on traffic and the spot chosen for the light.
How much does a desert photoshoot cost?
Each shoot is quoted individually once we know the location, the timing and how long you would like. Tell us what you have in mind and a named person replies within one business day.
Can our hotel concierge arrange it for us?
Yes. Concierges can write or call on your behalf, or simply give you the address portraitdubai.ae. We plan the details with the hotel and keep the concierge informed.
When do we receive the photos?
Within 2 days after the shoot, as a fully edited gallery in a private online gallery you can share.
