Who owns the images?
Portrait Dubai keeps the copyright and your organisation receives a written licence for the uses agreed in the proposal. A full buyout can be quoted if you need one.
Who will be photographing our event?
Jimmy de Paris leads every commission in person. For larger events, photographers and videographers from his team join him. Names are confirmed in writing before the day.
How quickly do we receive the photographs?
A first selection can be delivered the same day for press releases and social media. The full edited gallery is delivered on the date agreed in the proposal, through a private online gallery.
How do you handle guests who do not wish to be photographed and no-photo areas?
We agree a list of no-photo areas and any guests or delegations to avoid during the briefing, and follow your lanyard or wristband system on the day. Images of anyone who asks are removed from the selection.
Can you sign an NDA and provide insurance?
Yes. We sign your NDA before the briefing, and provide an insurance certificate on request for venues and organisers that require one.
Which hotels and venues do you work in?
We regularly work in Atlantis The Royal, One&Only Royal Mirage, One&Only One Za’abeel, Mandarin Oriental Jumeira, Burj Al Arab, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, Jumeirah Marsa Al Arab, Bvlgari Resort Dubai, Four Seasons Resort Dubai, Raffles The Palm, Address Downtown, W Dubai – The Palm, voco Dubai, Emirates Palace Mandarin Oriental, Abu Dhabi, Dubai Opera, as well as conference centres and private venues across the UAE.
